When a site requests for (desktop notifications, microphone, camera, etc) permissions from another tab, the content in all tabs remains frozen until user locates the culprit and responds to the pop-up. It may seem small but quickly becomes an annoyance when you tend to browse with dozens of tabs open. This problem will also grow as more and more websites implement desktop notifications these days.

What version of Opera and OS? I can't confirm it on Windows 10.

I am confident to have seen it on Windows 10 too, although I mostly work with Windows 7.

Version: 44.0.2510.857 (PGO) - Opera is up to date
          Update stream: Stable
          System: Windows 7 64-bit (WoW64)

I could not replicate the issue on two test machines (Windows 7 and 10) running build 1159.

My personal machine would not detect any updates. Any idea why?
              I have updated manually now.

There can be many reasons but it's subject for another topic.
