Remove/Hide Sidebar

Hello,
Is there a way to hide the sidebar completely from SpeedDial so that there is no line on the side of it? The sidebar is unpinned and has no icons on it so it just eats up space.

Seems odd that the devs haven't thought of this. For all we know, the next update might bring a new bar in the centre of the screen with no way of removing it as well...
