Opera Task (for closed tab or window) keeps running

Why doesn't Opera shut down the running task when a window or tab is closed ?

This just bloats the memory !

Which task? There will be one for the UI, at least one per tab, and the one to update the browser ...

Other than that I also think it's fair to note that not every entry in Windows task manager will use the same amount of memory.
