Importing extension settings?

I'm in the process of making the switch from chrome to opera and right now I'm hung up on trying to get the settings for a highly customizable extension on chrome to move over to opera. Is there an easy (or even not so easy) way to move these settings so I don't need to spend a few hours re-customizing everything?

Try copying the extension folder from Chrome's profile folder to Opera's one. However, as Opera and Chrome extensions are not exactly compatible, there is always a chance that it will not work.

Check if Chrome and Opera structure are similar.
