      Currently running Windows10

I have successfully imported Bookmarks from Chrome in to Opera "My Folders", and selected "Show Bookmark Bar".

How do I move folders contained in "My Folders" to the Bookmark Bar?

Menu > Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks. There you should be able to move itens from a folder to bookmarks bar.

leocg, Thanks for the suggestion, but that was one of the first things I tried to no affect. After opening a page with All-Bookmarks I tried to drag-and-drop a folder to the Bookmark-Bar, but the the cursor changed to the slash-O indicating and invalid operation and the folder would not drop on to the Bookmark-Bar. I even tried right-clicking on the target folder and checking the resulting menu for as Move-To-Bookmark-Bar option, but there was no such option.

          Any other suggestions?

P.S. Follow-up, I just noticed that I could drag-and-drop a short-cut, but apparently you can't do so with an entire folder. Opera needs this capability if it wants to compete with Chrome. The Chrome Bookmark-Bar can contain folders, nested folders as well as short-cuts.

Strange, I just tested and it worked fine here.

You are using the menu/list on the left, right?

Correct, I'm using the drop-down menu list on the left, I tried selecting a folder from the list of folders as well as from the same folders displayed on the bookmark page. In both cases I'm unable to drag-N-drop a folder on to the bookmark-bar. Are you sure your able to do this with FOLDER, not just a short-cut?

Ctrl + Shift + B > (on the left tree) "Unfold" My Bookmarks > My Folders and Bookmarks Bar > Move the desired folders.

Look at in Imported Bookmarks if haven't moved yet to My Bookmarks > My Folders

Hallelujah, that's the one thing I didn't try, moving the folders with in the My bookmarks tree; that worked. It's curious why I couldn't simply drag and drop to the Bookmark-bar directly. Anyway thanks for your help, the Opera group needs to work on that one.

It seems they manage the bookmarks just from Opera://bookmarks.
