Opera VPN not streaming

When I go to http://player.listenlive.co/25951/en/songhistory without VPN, it starts playing. However, with VPN, it doesn't play at all. The same goes for a lot of other streaming sites. Note that all these sites work perfectly when I use Opera VPN on my Android smartphone

I think it's the nature of the beast so to speak. I mean: a VPN is basically nothing more but yet another relay point, which implies that all data will take longer to reach your player. Instead of being sent more or less directly from the source it now also needs to be relayed, encrypted, sent to you, decrypted and then played.

The extra overhead is bound to cause some issues speed wise.

You can't really draw parallels with mobile devices because the amount of data which gets sent there is a lot less. For starters it's optimized to be used on smaller screens (smaller resolution, meaning less data to transmit).

Does it work if you add the site as an exception in Plug-ins/Flash settings?

I think it's a problem of your VPN, anyways opera VPN is very good VPN...but every VPN has its good and bad times, nonetheless, I personally use Opera VPN for streaming and some other VPNs that are mentioned here: https://www.reviewsdir.com/fastest-vpn-services/ They are perfectly fine VPNs if you are a die-hard streamer.
