      Description

Opera comes to a complete halt after a couple of navigations on YouTube videos. The number of jumps on the video required to crash Opera is between 4 to 10 jumps, even after closing the video and start jumping on another video.

The Opera task within Task Manager doesn't show any disruptive behavior ( 100% CPU or 100% disk ). Actually, it's like Opera gone completely to idle, with minimal CPU and disk usage.

I've tried to deactivate all extensions, shutting down the anti-virus and cleaned the Profile folder, with no results.

      Steps to reproduce

Open Opera, navigate to YouTube, pick a video and start jumping in the video timeline.

      Actual result

Opera coming to a complete halt after some video jumps.

      Expected result

No crash at all, or, at least, crashing only the open tab.

      Operative System

      Windows 10

      URL

      www.youtube.com ( any video )

      Opera version

      43.0.2442.1144

No problems here while playing Youtube videos.

Try disabling hardware acceleration in settings.

Try disabling hardware acceleration in settings.

It seems that the problem was with Hardware Acceleration. Disabling it resolved the issue.
