Opera won't play Twitter videos or GIFs on Windows 10

Hi, since a few days Opera stopped playing twitter videos or GIFs.
For example this one: https://twitter.com/AwardsDarwin/status/832958089653579776
I get a message saying that "The media content could not be played" -> http://imgur.com/a/6cZytI'm using Windows 10 64bits with the latest updates. Opera is version 43 also latest update. It works correctly on Chrome.
Tried clearing everything (cache, cookies, etc) from "the beginning of time", tried uninstalling, disabling the built-in adblocker, but none worked.
It's kinda upsetting because I spend a lot of time on twitter and honestly, I don't like other browsers that much.Any ideas?

No, it downloads the mp4 file instead. I know that Opera should play it in a tab, it did it before.
Not sure what have changed. -

No extensions used. Tried on a private window and got the same behavior.
It seems like it can not longer recognize mp4 videos. At least from twitter.
But I'm using same Opera version on my work laptop (Windows 8.1) and works perfectly.I have no idea what might have changed.

Do you have the latest Win 10 updates? I'm thinking this started happening after one of the windows updates a couple of weeks ago.

Ouch, sorry,
I'm Stacked on Anniversary Update because of Updates troubles. I'm lazy to refresh PC now
So my test is inconclusive.
