      Win 10 / 64 bit - Opera 43

Speed dial shows 5 columns, I set it to 10, restart Opera but still 5 columns.
      What am I doing wrong?
      Thanks,
      Ed

Probably nothing. The settings is for maximum number of columns and not for a fixed one so it can show less the the one you chose, depending on your screen size and resolution.

          Thanks for the quick response.
Does that mean that I can not resize the thumbnails by adding columns?
Or, alternatively, whenever the thumbnails fill the screen, columns will be added until I have 10?

The icons are a fixed size. If your screen is wide enough it will continue to add columns up to the number you set. If it is not wide enough it will not add any additional columns once the screen is full left-to-right. That said, you can use the zoom function to add some extra space. It will save the setting you choose for the zoom so you wont have to reset it each time.
