      Hi folks.

Silly thing really. Not sure how I did it (for surely then I would be able to undo it) but I suddenly have a new, blank, seemingly redundant tab on my mail display. The one with the little head on it..

Multiple links in case the forum's picky about such things, so I beg your pardon.

See what I mean? Sure it wasn't there previously. What is it please.. and how do I dismiss it?
      Many thanks.

Hmmm ... the icon would seem to indicate that it is supposed to be a list of messages to and from a certain sender, though it is puzzling why the name is not shown and the list is empty. Also puzzling, there is a Close x on the left tab and not this one - usually the original tab can't be closed and the other tabs have the x.

If it is the original tab just dragged out of place, clicking on Unread or another access point should change it to that item and then you could close the other tab. Or of course close Mail and it should be back to normal when you restart it.

(When reading a message, pressing E is supposed to display messages from that message's sender - which might be where it came from. But no idea who the sender was or why the list is empty.)

Well shheet. I've come back some hours and a reboot later and the x has migrated to this mystery tab. I click it and the tab's gone. Happy days.

Guess it was a glitch and a "turn it off and back on again" was all that was required.
Thanks for your help friend. 🆙
