Independent zoom settings for each tab

It's frustrating to open a picture in a new tab, zoom in so that details can be seen, and flip back to the previous tab to see that the before-appropriate zoom level has now skyrocketed to match the picture tab. That's not a good design and I'd like to see the zoom level of each tab independently adjustable.

It is set on a per website basis. It also saves it. So you can set it and not have to set it again the next time you come back. If it was set per tab you would lose it every time you closed a tab.

Can there perhaps be an extension to view pictures with an external application and add such an item to the context menu? It could amend the trouble.
Per site zoom is very useful. You won't regret to not have it till you're not having it: some browsers do per tab, and it's funny and all, but it adds multiple zoomy-zoomie-zoomie actions when you have to open new-tab links same domain again and again in short time where the player doesn't fit with default zoom.

Apart from old Opera, Midori does that. The browser quite actually mimics most of the Old Opera interface.
It seems a bit messy and lacks support though.
Or you can use your Old Opera for certain purposes... -

@joshl
it could be good for you. But not someones like us. At least there must be a option in settings for that. if we dont like it there must be a option for cancel it.
Just for that now i am using firefox.
And now they are made a bullshit with new version and duplicate tab keyboard shortcut not working anymore.
Now i am using Microsoft edge. it is awesome for web browsing. But a nightmare for watching video.
