Hi, I was living in India when I started using Opera and got my laptop. Ten months ago I moved to Australia. Whenever I search on Google, the results are still linked to India. How can I change this to Australia, where I currently am?
When replying, please use non-technical language as I am not very computer literate. I'm also using Windows 10 if that makes a difference.
Thank you

Opera checks with Google when first run to see where it is located and saves that information - along with your personal settings and other data - in a file in your profile named "Local State". If you delete this file while Opera is closed then it would have to check again. Of course it will also forget any changes you have made through Settings, so perhaps you wouldn't want to do that. Or you could open the file in a text editor, look for the section named Location, and edit it yourself (though there have been mixed reports on how successful that is). Your choice.

If it's only Google, it might probably be in the Google settings, on the site: there is a language setting and a country setting there, at the bottom.
You can check your "Local State" too.
