TuneIn radio doesnt work

  • I got tunein radion turning off all the time. When i click play it is pausing (or turning off) and turning on every half second. on firefox/chrome works perfectly.

    opera: 42.0.2393.94
    osx: Mac OS X 10.12.2 64-bit

  • Confirmed - I see the same thing using RadioPlayer - it worked fine before. Try www.radioplayer.co.uk, most stations stop playing in less than a second.

  • I can cofirm the error. Some streams do not work at all (e.g. tunein) while others stop after half a second (e.g. dubai92, onefm singapore).

Mac OS: 10.12.2; Opera 42.0.2393.94, no flash installed/disabled in opera

  • Experiencing the same error. Music streaming not working entirely (e.g. ip-music.ch, tunein.com) or stream stops/restarts every second (e.g. dubai92.com).
    MacOS 10.12.2; Opera 42.0.2393.94

  • Opera 42. Mac OS 11.5
TuneIn not working, or any streaming audio service.. plays one second then stops!

  • Confirmed opera 42 Mac OS 10.12.2 SIERRA, TuneIn not working and catalan Radio RAC1 doesn't work too, 1 second and pause. I have tried with chrome and works porperly!

  • same error on kronehit.at play 1 second then stops the streaming. Mac OS X Sierra

  • Same issue trying to listen to the stream at http://www.wnyc.org - it will play for a second or two, then stop, and it is impossible to retart it. Mac OS X Sierra. Firefox works fine.

  • Hi all, this is known internally as DNA-58740, and it was recently fixed. The fix will go through the usual testing sequence before it ends up in Opera stable.

  • Hi all,
    42.0.2393.137: Error still persists.
    MacOS 10.12.2

sorry, did only just realize that DNA-58740 has not been fixed. Therefore error still occuring...

  • Still not fixed , even in the beta. I'm new to Opera, does it normally take this long to fix (what I consider) a major bug? Opera is a nice fast web browser on Mac, but, if you can't use music streaming services, then it's not really working...

  • Looks like Opera beta 43.0.2442.686 fixes DNA-58740 issue, nice!

  • Opera 43 has now been released on the stable stream, and contains the fix.

Normally fixes are first integrated and tested in our bleeding-edge developer stream (you can download Opera developer from http://www.opera.com/blogs/desktop/ , or read more about our different streams at http://www.opera.com/blogs/desktop/streams/ ). This is what I referred to when I wrote the fix will go through the usual testing sequence before it ends up in Opera stable.

If they're urgent fixes (like this one), they are pushed to our beta stream as soon as they are verified to work in the developer stream, which is why a recent beta (and now the stable version) contain the fix :)
