Confirmed - I see the same thing using RadioPlayer - it worked fine before. Try www.radioplayer.co.uk, most stations stop playing in less than a second.

I can cofirm the error. Some streams do not work at all (e.g. tunein) while others stop after half a second (e.g. dubai92, onefm singapore).
Mac OS: 10.12.2; Opera 42.0.2393.94, no flash installed/disabled in opera

Experiencing the same error. Music streaming not working entirely (e.g. ip-music.ch, tunein.com) or stream stops/restarts every second (e.g. dubai92.com).
MacOS 10.12.2; Opera 42.0.2393.94 -

Same issue trying to listen to the stream at http://www.wnyc.org - it will play for a second or two, then stop, and it is impossible to retart it. Mac OS X Sierra. Firefox works fine.

Still not fixed , even in the beta. I'm new to Opera, does it normally take this long to fix (what I consider) a major bug? Opera is a nice fast web browser on Mac, but, if you can't use music streaming services, then it's not really working...

Opera 43 has now been released on the stable stream, and contains the fix.

Normally fixes are first integrated and tested in our bleeding-edge developer stream (you can download Opera developer from http://www.opera.com/blogs/desktop/ , or read more about our different streams at http://www.opera.com/blogs/desktop/streams/ ). This is what I referred to when I wrote the fix will go through the usual testing sequence before it ends up in Opera stable.
If they're urgent fixes (like this one), they are pushed to our beta stream as soon as they are verified to work in the developer stream, which is why a recent beta (and now the stable version) contain the fix
