How to recover a deleted email in Operamail?

I mistakenly deleted a very important email (Shift_Delete). Is there any way to recover it? Is it lying in some folder somewhere?

After Shift-Delete, no. If you had sent it to the trash, you could recover it from there, but Shift-Delete ("Delete Permanently" on the menu) is permanent.

Have you got Opera Mail set to delete messages from the server when they're downloaded?
If not, it should still be there and can be downloaded again.
Even if you have got it set to delete, if you can login to your e-mail provider's webmail, you may find it still in the deleted items there, from which you can recover it and re-download it.
Most automatically delete the trash after a certain time, so the sooner you look the better!

Unfortunately I opted to have them delete on webmail as soon as I delete them in Operamail. I see that was not smart. We all make mistakes and losing just one email can cost you dearly. I'll probably change that pretty soon!

Have you checked the mail on your mail provider's website?
Even if it's been marked as deleted when you downloaded it with Opera Mail, you may be lucky and find that it's still in a deleted items folder on the website. If it is still there, you can still recover it.
