[Solved]Opera Mail: sending times out, cannot cancel

I sent an email with some photo attachments, but I guess they were too big because while sending it stalls for a long time and eventually gives up. This happens whenever I click sync, and because the offending email is first in the queue, no further emails I send get sent. How do I cancel this email? Is there also a way I can access the contents of what I wrote?

I'm using Opera Mail 1.0 build 1044 on Windows 7, 32 bit, accessing a gmail account.

Go to Outbox in the left panel. From there you'll get a view of messages waiting to be sent, where you can either delete or edit the problem message.
