After setting gmail.com, or inbox.com to accept all maito: links, opera opens the settings window on startup every single time. this is very annoying, and it happens on all my computers

is there a way to disable the mailto fowarding afterwards? because, this is annoying.

If you are on Windows you should be able to do it in Control Panel > Default programs.

Just uncheck mailto from Protocols handled by Opera.
