News feed on the speed dial page

After switching from Firefox to Opera I was excited, also because of the nice, customizable news on the speed dial page. Now for whatever reason, the news disappeared from that front page. How can I get that back on my first page ?

well but it was there when I installed Opera the first time ! It appears to me like Microsoft, where the company knows whats best for the users...and they fail....
