Middle-click not closing tabs

Hi

I just downloaded and started using Opera again. I noticed a mildly irritating thing... I'm used to middle-clicking tabs to close them. This works with FFox or Chrome without issues. However with Opera 41 it sometimes requires 2 clicks whether or not the tab is active. Has anyone else noticed similar?
