Opera 12.17 part 2: Auto-Updater Won't Go Away

When I start Opera 12.17, a window pops up asking if I wish to update to current (I assume) revision; I do not.

In a different thread, davehawley informed me of the location of a setting to turn it off. I did so, but the window continues to pop up when I start Opera. I checked the setting and auto-updater is de-selected.

Any ideas out there for getting rid of that annoying pop up? Where in Opera would be the code for controlling it?

First of all - there is a 12.18, you should update to that. If the update was already downloaded you will always be asked about it - other than that, no idea.
