I live in Iran and I need to have something to access blocked sites.
Hotspot shield have extension for Firefox and Chrome, I used it with Firefox and it was great.
But i like to have it in Opera. I added the Chrome extension to my Opera browser, Using "Download Chrome Extension".
Unfortunately it doesn't work well, Most of the time it doesn't work. It seems its not compatible with Opera browser, I'm not sure.Do you have similar problem? Didn't you find any solution?
I have tested other similar extensions such as "SurfEasy Proxy" and They're slow. Thanks

If SurfEasy works, have you tried the built-in VPN?
I haven't heard about built-in VPN. Its in SurfEasy? How can i try it?

Just enable it in Settings.
I'm afraid we misunderstand each other.
I already have SurfEasy Extension and I can use it. But it's too slow and force me to use FireFox.
I just install it from here:
https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/surfeasy-proxy-an-opera-software-company/?display=enAnd i can't see such thing in the setting.
Thanks for your answer.

I just found the point. That built-in VPN is also from SUrfEasy, So if the Extension can connect, the Bulit-In VPN very probably must work too.
I feel like a genius.
Unfortunately the built-in VPN doesn't work and I'm sure Iranian government did it. But maybe Opera can find a way to solve it, Like the extension.

There are other VPN extensions in the opera catalog. Try
- Tunnelbear
- DotVPN
- Zenmate
- VPN.S HTTP Proxy
extensions. You can search for them on addons.opera.com and install them from there. I hope at least one of them works.
