Import bookmarks into version 20.x

Can somebody tell me how to handle? The "import bookmarks" button cannot be activated. Thanks for helping.

Run Opera with the parameter "--presto-small-prefs-dir=ROAMING_PROFILE_DIR" without the quotes and with the correct path to your Opera Presto (Opera 12.xx and older) profile.

Note: This will reset your Opera 20 profile

Export as HTML open the HTML file in Opera, add the links one by one.

Or, import them into Opera 12 and use that.

Or, if you must install Opera 20 afterwards and the bookmarks will be available as mentioned above — Opera 20 can get the profile from Opera 12 (or earlier).

I believe there's also an extension for importing bookmarks. Search in Add-ons.

Hi Loudermp: if you would like, then you can try to use the "Transmute" for Windows for that purpose.
