Hello,
i just downloaded your browser and sadly i couldn´t find any way to set up a homepage button on top of the screen next to the refresh button.
I was also wondering, if there was some way to get rid of the google search part in the quick start page menu.
Please help me, thank you in advance, have a nice day.

Opera does not have a "home" button, however in the settings you can set the browser to start with different pages displayed.
The cogwheel on the top right of the Speed Dial page will bring up its settings, which will allow you to switch off the Google search field.

No sadly, the cogwheel does not have this option, or at least i haven´t found it. Tried pretty much everything you can do in the cogwheel menu, but i can seem to be able to turn it off. Its shame, otherwise i found opera to be a very good browser.

Thanks Leo, I didn't realise that you had to have advanced settings on for that option to appear, as I've always had it on!

Thank you very much guys, you just made my opera experience and my day much better. Its kindy tricky, when you have to first set up the setting in the settings menu, to be able to set up the homepage/or start page configuration in another menu. But whatever, im just glad it works. Love the VPN option!

I'm so pleased to hear that!
It makes a nice change from people who just stomp away if the browser doesn't do exactly what they want it to do in the way that they want to do it.
