Internet banking became partly inoperative

Opera has been my browser for 20 years (I used to pay for it!). When my Belgian bank started Internet banking many years ago, I signed on via Opera without problems. When the bank recently updated their software, I could still log on via Opera, but some operations became inoperative. I am now forced to do my banking via Firefox.
What do I need to do to get Opera to be as functional as Firefox? The main problem seems to be downloading of details; for instance: I can see account balances, but not the transactions within the account.
I use Windows 10, and Opera version 39.0.2256.71. -

Do you have any kind of ad-blocking enabled? Either Opera internal or some extension like adblock or ghostery? They can interfere sometimes.

Does that page work with Chrome, for example? Maybe it's an issue between them and the Blink engine.

I am having similar problems with my online banking site (ING). They have a new site, but it will not accept Opera. I cannot seem to find a way of mimicking other browsers (like in older versions of Opera), is this still possible, or do I have to use on of their recommended crappy browsers?

How is it made there?
A sort of dropdown list? A popup? A frame?
Yes, check it in the latest Chrome to see if that's inherent to the engine. And yes, there must be an ad-blocker in this latest Opera. Try to find it and turn it off, and check again: maybe it deems some frames and/or scripts to be 'naughties'. If so, it needs a ticket.
