I am currently using the latest version of Opera 39 and there is a certain site that i want to visit but for some reason it's not loading. I don't know if it has to do with this opera version but if I also have a much older version of opera and it loads this page just fine.
This is the page I'm having issues with:

      http://j-factor.com/dredmorpedia

The page does take a little while to load and that's even if you can get it to load. So basically the screen is stuck at about halfway through loading and the bar never moves again. The yellowish creature you see in the middle is still moving so the page isn't entirely frozen. If i move my mouse cursor it shows the windows 7 loading cursor, the one with the blue circle.

I'm not understanding why it isn't loading on Opera 39 for me. My older version of opera loads just fine, and so does Firefox. I also have adblock but i tried turning it off for that site but nothing happens. I tinkered with opera turbo on and off and still nothing.
What else could be the problem? I have no other extensions or add-ons on opera. Any help is appreciated.

      Thank you in advance.

        That page loaded fine here.

Does the page open in a private window?

No it doesn't open in a private window.
But nonetheless the strangest thing happened.

I tinkered around with even more settings, notably the one i missed and it was the 'Block ads' tab. When i turned it off the site suddenly started to load! I now to have add that site as an exception.

But i don't understand why this site would be an ad... but i'm not a website expert so... in the end I solved my own problem.
Thanks for taking the time to help leocg.
