How to disable completely the Speed Dial ?

Hello,

So Opera has started showing off promotional tiles on the speed dial and i don't find this "Suggested tiles" option to turn off.
Any way I have never found the Speed Dial to be customizable enough.

By any chance is there a way to turn it off completely, like Vivaldi allows me to do ?

Check the Start Page settings, you can disable Speed Dial there.

To Disable Opera Speed Dial (disables annoying suggestions etc)

1. open new browser tab

2. select gear icon top right of page (customize start page)

3. uncheck Speed Dial

4. that's it - you should be good now
