Cannot remove AliExpress from suggestions

It ALWAYS shows first, and it can't be hidden.
It seems a deliberate recent choice, as you can still hide others.
Please don't go forward with this. I am already considering dropping Opera due to it losing almost any connection to its roots and because of the Chinese deal.
Forcing me to see the Chinese web "suggestion" each time I open a new tab and taking customization away from me would be the last drop. I know people live from advertising and these deals; I don't care. I would simply choose Vivaldi or Chrome and get rid of this.
Edit: actually found a way to get rid of it. Put it on your Speedial, then move it to Trash. Do NOT Empty Trash - it will immediately show yet again on Suggestions. Absolutely incredible.
Please allow us to remove it as any other website, without these tricks.

For me, Opera sponsored suggestions always show first and always come back (I can remove them but they are back the next time I return to speed dial) which is why I just disabled suggestions completely. Not useful in its current form.
My god, it even comes back from the Trash You can temporarily "hide" it (1 hour? 2? 3? one app restart maybe?), but then it's recreated and slapped right back on the top of Suggestions. You can delete/hide the Opera suggestion - it won't return. But AliExpress? Stuck with it.
This was not a case in Opera until this new dev version I've installed of Opera 41, I was on the x64 Opera 40 dev before it and all was OK, you could delete all the default items in Speeddial etc. In the end I gave up and unticked Suggestions altogether.
I don't understand why they think this is OK to do. There is so much choice on the browser market, why would you risk alienating users?
