What the hell is going on with Bitwarden addon/extension? Developer updated it and submitted it basically 1 year ago and it's still stuck with stupid broken version from March 2019. The version that keeps on spawning stupid extensions bar if you have it set to unlock it with PIN. And every time you unlock with PIN, extensions sidebar appears in Opera. And of course absolute silence from Opera devs/maintainers. You can use the one from Chrome store, but I find it idiotic having to use another extension to use Chrome store and install addon Opera refuses to update while hosting it itself. I just don't get it. Either do it properly and update shit people submit to you or stop bothering entirely. Doing some half ass job like this is not helping you gain users...

Hello. Why can’t my extension be published for more than 2 months? Users complain that it does not work (see the latest comments in the reviews). Other extensions at https://addons.opera.com/en/ are updated, and new ones appear every day. My extension has over 1 million downloads, good reviews. Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefeh published a new version during the day. Why are there such delays in Opera? In the panel, the developer generally moderators do not respond.

Thank you very much for publishing the new version, I've been waiting for this for so long !!!!

Hi, I submitted the last version of my extension in July and it was never reviewed after five months. I just submitted a new version and was curious what to expect as far as wait time. Publishing to Opera probably wouldn't be worth the hassle if the review process does indeed last months.

Hi there,
I published add-on almost 10 days ago and still didn't get any review from moderators. It shows that it's available in opera dev / etc but not in Opera browser itself.
Anyone knows how long it take in general ?
Thanks

@leocg Ogh, do you have any idea how long it takes in general ? For Chrome / Firefox it's not taking so long time. And that's just a first time submit for extension

@artembogomaz I don't know how well it's working at the moment, but you can set "I want my extension to be available for auto-publishing." for your extension and it should be approved right away if everything is okay.
Otherwise, if you have your extension published to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/, just make sure it's also compatible with Opera and Opera users can just install it from there.

@oinkandstuff This is an abnormal situation if the browser does not have enough specialists, then it would be correct to introduce paid moderation for those who need to do plug-in updates regularly, or request more documents in the case of online stores and commercial companies and disable the need for moderation for them.

17 days after submitting, an update to my extension was still not published. So I opened its page and, in the General tab, switched on the checkbox I want my extension to be available for auto-publishing. Also, in the Conversation tab, I entered a remark explaining the situation and asking if there was anything else I needed to do to make the new checkbox setting effective. Although I have not received a answer to that question, my extension was published 59 minutes later. Lesson learned: Switch on the checkbox I want my extension to be available for auto-publishing.
I wonder why Opera exposes that checkbox. The accompanying text implies that not all extensions will meet the criteria for auto-publishing. But it does not cost anything to try, other than some CPU time on Opera's server, so I wonder why the system does not just try auto-publishing automatically for all extensions and updates? That must be the way the Chrome and Firefox stores work – my Chrome and Firefox extensions are always approved within minutes.
