Hidden processes are out of control

Opera Developer 38.0.2205.0 for Windows 7 64-bit (WoW64)
Hidden processes are out of control. I had Opera open for about five minutes, visited only one website and Opera was already using 119 processes. I used the Pskill utility and it says, "119 processes named opera and their descendants killed." I am not claiming this is a fault with Opera, but I am asking what can be done to prevent this exploitation.

How many tabs are opened? How many extensions are being used?

You can open Opera's task manager to check all opened processes.
