Why put my extra mails address to notes in contact properties?

Hi ,

I was creating contacts & in-putting couple of them on the same column.
Once I click okay, I noticed Opera split my extra email address to the noted tab in the contact properties.

Is there any special reason to that & what I can benefit from this ?

If i remember correctly, it always worked this way. Don't know the reason.

The separation is just visual. In the contacts file, they're all joined together by special characters. I don't know the real reason why things are like this in the UI, but I imagine they wanted to just make the email address field on the general tab focus on the primary (first) email address. The others (after the first) are just shoved out of the way on the notes tab.

As to why you can enter the additional email addresses in the email address field on the general tab and have the others moved to the notes tabs automatically instead of being forced to enter the additional ones on the notes tab, I guess that's just for convenience.
