Google searches not showing in website suggestion

  • Hey everyone,

I am coming from a 5+ year of google chrome and one of the features that I really liked about chrome was that, together with the usual website suggestions while typing in the browser bar, it would also show my previous google searches. Is there a way to make that happen in Opera as well?

    Thanks for the tips!

  • Not sure if it is what you want but try using the 'g' prefix when searching.

  • No, it is what the guys says. Searches and search engines are somehow incorporated in Google Chrome, the latter even automatically creates search engines when possible.
Perhaps there must be/should be an option to, say, enable search suggestions.

But you know what I think? I think really, that history matters here. In search URLs, there is the word you searched with included, right? So the browser should look in history too, check it.
Unless, however, there's this separate engine suggestions working: like a browser can possibly check 1) your history, 2) your bookmarks, 3) perhaps search suggestions if enabled, and maybe 4) your search history if it's kinda separate.
But my Olde Opera suggest searches I've done before anyway - it's HISTORY! ☕
