I am sorry but none of you helped I have tried those ideas from Opera before I consulted this forum, but this is not what I am searching for, what I am trying to do is save websites on the Speed Dial as I did when I had Windows 7 but on Windows 10 I am unable to do this for some reason, the window is blank and there is nothing there so I can add websites as there was before, could this be a browser problem if so could you direct me to the right browser, I am now using Microsoft browser, but when I was on Windows 7 I believe I was on the Google Chromium browser and maybe Opera browser at one time and was able to save websites on the Speed Dial window

And you hadn't said what the problem is.

What happens when you try to add a page to Speed Dial?
the window is blank and there is nothing there so I can add websites as there was before
I couldn't get it. So you add a page to Speed Dial and you don't see it there?

correct
So what steps did you take to add those sites to your speed dial screen?
There are 2 options, and I could see how one of those might not work all the time. First (my favorite): once you're on a site you like you can click the heart icon (at the end of the address bar) which will add the site to your bookmarks. By clicking the icon again it'll open up a control screen where you can change the icon you want to use, and also the folder in which the bookmark is saved. All you have to do is set it to 'Speeddial' and it should show up.
The other option is to use the 'Add' option in the speed dial itself. However, I could see how that could lead to weird results, also because you're not setting a preview at the same time.
Hope this can help a bit.
