Hello,
I want to see if I can move my mouse to the left of the panel & Opera would extend the width of the label tree panel...................
When mouse go away, the panel resume to default width...............
as I frequently need to see long label descriptions but this could affect the mail panel become smaller.........
So that the best is in normal situation it is narrow, when mouse hover, it extend it's width.
Thank you very much.

THANKS..............
Want Opera when hovering mouse at the left panel ( where those labels are at ) ., it will automatically extend wider like the left of this picture
When mouse not hovering, it re-track back to narrower like the right of the picture.
Hope it can.........................
Thank you very much.

How about mouse over that area , a mouse flipback=extend width & delay, 18000 & retract back the width to narrow to original state ?
Thank you very much

If you're not familiar with it, Set preference, "Section|Name", "Value" is a way of changing settings in operaprefs.ini while Opera is running - however, some settings would require a restart and hence Set preference is useless with them. But you could try to use Set preference to change the value of "Columns|Mail view" to see if it actually will change column widths while Opera is running.
