video size on youtube

please i need help. i did a stupid thing the other day. while watching a youtube video a single strip appeared at the top of the picture, as it always does. on the left side it had a box that one could check if they wanted it to not appear again. on the right were the words allow or deny for the video to remain the regular youtube size or go full screen. leaving the box unchecked it would be be shown again every time you wanted to change screen size and you had to click on allow or deny going full screen or not. (the same choice appears when you make a password.) the other day i chose to check the box to not have the strip appear again and i also clicked deny to go full screen. usually i just clicked to go full screen leaving the check box alone. now i am stuck in small screen mode and when i try to click the box to increase screen size i get nothing. no strip, nothing.
i have uninstalled opera using revo and i have reinstalled it (36.0.2130.75version) without success in changing screen size. is there anyway to change this back to having the strip appear. -
