What is the keyboard short cut to stop the video --- http://edition.cnn.com/videos

  • Hello !!!

My situation is , I have a ' session ' with different news portal such as ---> http://edition.cnn.com/videos

They will start play when I start this specific Opera session.

I want them start as this is why I save this session & how I can make a keyboard command to " stop every video tabs " to play ?

You know, I have 10+ tabs all are news video & they overlapping each other reporting me news at same time. I want to have a single command to first stop them all in one action & play them in my choice 1 by 1 later when I cycle each tab.

Disabling java in Opera 11.xx is seems not what I need..................

    Thank you very much.

    Edmond.

  • In 11?

    I doubt it.
    Unless using Turbo or something...

  • Yes......... version 11.xx

  • I don't know any command to do it.

  • You presumably need to stop the videos playing automatically.
Perhaps setting Opera to only load plugins on demand will do this, which you can do in the site preferences for the CNN domain.
    🙂

  • Will it then start them all at once all over when you hit "start plug-in"?

  • I would have thought that it would only start the plugin on the page you were looking at, but the only way to know is to try it!

Opera Presto used to show an icon in the address bar to activate plug-ins on the page, when you had 'click to play' enabled.

  • Any command then for activate plug-ins | de-activate plug-ins ?

So that I can assign to keyboard shortcut.

    Try: Activate on-demand plugins
