Opera for Android doesn't open Alphabear links

  • With Chrome as the default browser, somehow these special links open the Alphabear app:
    https://bnc.lt/kpFf/RHHRGDAFIu

With Opera as the default browser, it just shows you a page that gives links for the Play store page for the app, even when it's already installed. I'm not sure if this is because the page that gets served is different for Chrome and Opera, or whether it's some capability that Chrome has?

    Thanks,
    Antonio

  • Opera doesn't open links in external apps, including Play store links. Since they can't vouch for the security of other apps, they don't use them.

  • Opera must wakeup some background Google processes prior app link due to permissions configuration (?) Anyway the link say Get instead Go To... Anybody can confirm Tapatalk link behaviour on forums?
