For some reason the browser just refuses to show some gif images. I found somewhere that someone said a shortcut key is to use F12. I use that and the image shows but then I have to redo it when the page reloads. This is seriously annoying. Its not just one site, its on many sites. I get a image not there type of icon instead of the image. I have image enabled and it has no problem showing animated gifs. Its just gifs that are not moving in certain areas.

      Using Opera 38
      Windows 8.1

It would be better if you could give a few examples of places where GIFs doesn't work.

I have the same issue. A page like http://puzzling.stackexchange.com/questions/36738/folding-paper-into-corners shows broken images. Clicking an image just shows a blank page on imgur.

Disabling the new add block does not make a difference.

Chrome shows the images just fine.

Looks the same on Opera, Chrome and Firefox here.
