Now come on... Just keep the old tab switcher option even in the flags!
There is no single good thing about the new switcher!

For a long time to wait for fixes a bug with the tab selector? Some of the developers can give the answer?

It appears that Adblock is combined with data savings.
This results that Adblock cannot be used alone which results in the fact that all data goes via the Opera servers. With data savings, this is inevitable, but Adblock alone can be done locally as happens on the computer versions of Opera.
So why can this this not be enabled without data savings enabled on Android ?

@anonofholland Hey may I ask you what do you think of Yandex Browser for Android? I found it to be a good alternative browser with bottom UI and a kind of workflow thought into its tab management, definitely worth a try for some days for the enthusiasts.
This Opera version still lags for me with "tab not responding" messages specially just after switching to Opera from other apps/lockscreen. But I also got this message while writing this reply, and lag twice...
And white tabs in the tab switcher...

Anything can happen. Just be corrected soon. Often freezes in the 37th version of the switch. Even now, while there wrote, I wanted to switch to the next tab, and then again had to restart the browser

I installed opera 36 and while I was sleeping it updated to opera 37. How can I prevent this from happening in the future?

Enter in Google Play Store and check the auto-update feature from settings. Also you may want to install something like 'APK Analizer' for apps backup.

I didn't see such problem so far. What is your phone and version of Android?

If I choose to block ads turning on the data saving mode, I often experience an annoyance : Opera seems unable to reach any website during maybe 1 minute immediatly after exiting a sleep phase. In "normal" mode, no problem.

Will have to chime in here also (for the new Chinese owners of Opera) - too many negative changes.

tabs: same as all above comments, less choice is rarely good when it comes to 'classics', and tabs have been around for 20-30 years(?)

no more Speed Dial: the best thing about Opera (or mini version), total control over arranging bookmarks, but now seems to be a copy of Chrome/Chromium (on which it is based), no way of deleting the 'pushed' bookmark suggestions at the top (seems to be just a 'recent' bookmarks list, unorganized, and, of little help to those that clear the browser cache frequently (typically 1/day))
note: I don't use feeds of any type on any browsers so getting 'around' these are just extra 'clicks/touches'. -
bookmarking pain: the very easy '+' button is gone, making quick bookmarking a very long process, the only possible way I found to bookmark is enter the 'bookmark' section, choose New Bookmark, and than, manually (???) enter in the web address?? I'm guessing that I totally missed something, is this correct?
So if I'm forced to use a Chromium bookmark structure, and I don't use suggested feeds, hmm, maybe forced to switch to Chromium, or re-visit Mozilla FF.

You can click on share icon in the bottombar (2nd icon from the left) and add to bookmarks

Feels that all devices with 1GB RAM got a crash visiting http://www.youronlinechoices.com/ro/optiunile-mele URL especially with Turbo set on and Opera Max enabled. With opera max disabled fails also several times.
