Opera VPN not blocking ads..

I just installed Opera VPN on an iPad and although the VPN seems to be working it's not blocking any ads no matter what browser I use including Opera Mini on a lot of websites despite have the 'BLOCK ADS' component enabled. I am having to use a additional 3rd party ad blocker to do its job for it.
How to fix this?

Tested with a few sites and forums last night. All the ads came through, and when I switched locations the ads switched languages to match me.

Check http://echo.opera.com and https://whoer.net ,in both cases the same IP must be forwarded.

I have had to disable and remove Opera VNP from my iPad completely, It causes me to get flooded with adds everywhere. It's own adblocker just does nothing at all sadly.
