Is there a way to save all settings, including flags in Opera Developer so that I don't have to go in and re-enter all my start web pages, etc every time I have to switch from Opera Developer to Opera Next to Opera Stable ?
Are settings saved separately from flags ?
What about power user mode ? Is there command line switch I can use instead of some keyboard string I have to type in every time?
Thanks

Each stream has a separate profile folder and what you change in one of them only affects that stream. Also, the streams don't share the same settings and/or flags, so a certain setting/flag may not work on all of them.

You only need to enter the power user mode once if you want, just check the option to always show the power user options.

I guess both are save in Preferences. Or most of them, at least.

So where is the settings file for each stream? Is it the same file in each stream ?
What about flags - is that a separate file ?
What about power user mode is that a line entry in a file somewhere ?

Basically, settings are stored in the file Preferences, flags, in Local State (see the element browser.enabled_labs_experiments). As leocg said, they can be incompatible between streams. I also may have different sets of flags turned on in different streams. That's why I've never copied these files as a whole. Better set everything up manually.

Ok. So each stream needs to be considered separately because each profile is separate with different flags (experiments in each).
Let's ignore power user mode or flags then for now.
So in which folder/file are the settings stored in then ?
At least that way, I don't have to manually setup each stream every time.

You can see the path to the currently used profile in opera:about. By default, it's %AppData%\Opera Software\Opera Developer (or Opera Next, or just Opera, for Stable). Oh, and the file Preferences also contains the configuration of the extensions installed, so it's one more reason not to copy it as is, unless you can guarantee that the lists of extensions in different streams are the same.

Note that their settings may not be always compatible, so it's not recommended to copy one stream profile into another. There were reports of people having problems because of it.
The best thing to do is to choose one stream to use on a daily basis.

Not sure but i think that flags are also stored on Preferences. At least i always see that file being updated when i change a flag.
Yes, I thought so too, but as I checked it to write the answer, I didn't find them. Instead, their names were in Local State.
