A Former User last edited byif you just want to reinstall Opera, you can backup your Login Data file (among others, eg. bookmarks, Cookies etc) that file is in your profile folder, and to see where is you profile folder, the most easiest way is to click on O-menu button (left upper corner) and then on About Opera there you'll see it under Paths you could also use synchronization (bookmarks, passwords, ...), I think that's recommended way
Before reinstall, login to Sync (or create acc if you don't have it)
 http://prntscr.com/b2q1m8
and choose what to sync, so that Opera can backup all you passwords to sync serveronce you reinstall Opera, login again into your Sync account in new installation, and Opera will pull all your data from Sync server
If you don't see sync button, click O-menu >> synchronizationadditional info: -
In case you are reinstalling OS (system), manually backing up passwords file won't work after OS reinstall, because that file is linked to OS installation for security reasons. In that case, only option is synchronization.

Also, I think that passwords file from bigger Opera version won't work in lower Opera version
eg. if you copy Login data file from developer version 38 into stable or beta version 37, you won't see your passwords in beta and stable.
Other way around works (from stable 37 to dev 38)
