Google Translate is Mute

With my old v12.17 Opera, Google Translate had a "pronounce it" feature. However, my v36 does not. Surprisingly, the web page for both looks exactly the same -- except that the "pronounce it" icon is missing in my v36 GT webpage. My guess is that I must be missing an add-on, but I can't figure out how to find which is missing. Can someone please tell me?

Or, please tell me if my guess is wrong, and what I should do.

What OS? It works fine here on Windows 10.

You are much more modern than I, leocg. I'm still running XP, on both v12 and v36.
