Hi,
Many web sites play videos embedded within a page immediately when it loads. So when the page is loaded you immateriality exposed to all the noise, whether is is a commercial, or a short video or the website video logo...
Quiettttt Please...:)in most cases one have to search for the video, in order to stop it.
Very annoying, at least for me.Firefox gives a decent method to handle it.
The address bar contains button, allowing to disable-enable the flush for each of site on the spot.
This way, all the bothering websites are blocked, but when i still want to watch or hear something, it can be done in a sec.Now I moved to Opera, at least i am trying to.
The only advantage I found so far is that it maybe a bit lighter / faster.
Not sure.On the other hand, among all the missing features, at least for me, this one will probably cause me to return to Firefox.
Is there a way to disable - enable the flush plugin in a convenient way?Tx

You can make play plugins play on demand. So it will be grayed out with a play button in the middle and wont play unless you click it. Its great for getting rid of flash advertising. I don't know if you can whitelist pages for it though. You might also look into Opera's extension store and see if there is anything there that does what you want.

Thanks.
There is a limit though, you can not do that (Click To Play) for a single plugin
There is a Manage individual plug-ins option, but this only allows to disable or enable a single plugin.
I think FireFox way to do that is Excellent, and developers team should adopt this one.

In Addition, I found cases where although I set Click To Play, the plugin can not be enabled when needed.
Opera does not recognize the need, and does not display an option to enable the plugin.I refer to chats in which a sound is played when a message was sent or received. Not video.

I have the contrary problem. When I go in a site that requires flash player I need to click before it loads the site. Is is annoyng. Is it possible that Opera runs flash player immediately?
I use a portable version.

I use a portable version.Do you have Turbo enabled by chance?
Also note that Flash content to run automatically or not may depend also on the site.

Check the left side of the address bar.
On the right of the BACK arrow. -

Are you from development team?

If I go in speed dials - tab appears a record in which is written chrome/startpage/activity.
Why Chrome? Is there a connection between Opera and Chrome?
