When I installed Opera 20 today, I was unable to find the bookmarks manager in the Opera menu, and therefore cannot import my bookmarks into Opera. Can anyone help me? Do I have to completely uninstall Opera and reinstall it? Please help. Thanks

There is no Bookmarks Manager in Opera 20.
If you installed it after Opera 12 or earlier, your profile should have been imported already.
Look on the menu for More Tools, Bookmark Importer.
The name is a bit misleading, as your bookmarks should already have been imported. What it does it let you import them to the Bookmarks Bar, or the Speed Dial (your choice for each folder). Sessions can be imported too, as Speed Dial folders.

Can the bookmarks in Opera 20 be exported as an html file in order to import them into Opera Portable or another browser? If so, how?!?

No. The Opera bookmarks file for 20 can by copied to other installations, such as a portable version.
Take a look in \profile\data\ for various files that can be copied.

I recently started using Opera 20. I had been using SRWare Iron. But now I want to import my Bookmarks and everything seems to be very complicated. Also I am using a Mac OS 10.6.8 and a lot of instructions don't apply because what they refer to in the Mac version just doesn't exist. As an example there is no Bookmark manager. Therefore I would like to add my voice to the Chorus and request a more robust Bookmark feature in the browser.
