Is there a way to show the "http" part of the url in Opera? I'm not sure what version Opera stopped doing that (it had to be within the past year). I frequently copy links and when I post them to other locations I need to add it manually which is very annoying.

Hi, this feature is available in the Opera Developer 21 (since version 21.0.1419.0). If you would like, you can download, and install the latest version (currently 21.0.1432.5), then go to Settings(Alt+P)->Browser->User interface, and tick the checkbox on the left of the "Show full URL in combined search and address bar".

Is there a reason why this is not an option in the normal version of the browser?

The reason is the setting wasn't developed until recently. When Opera 21 becomes stable it'll be available in the "normal" version.

This is infuriating. Its bad enough that we've had to go this long without native OperaLink (One of my favorite features of Opera) but now this foolishness? How could this have passed QA? This is ridiculous. I've been a loyal user of Opera since 2001 and this is really trying my patience.

Its one thing to change interfaces and add functionality but why strip them? Rrrrrrrgggghhhhhh

Opera doesnt show the full URL in the address bar, the HTTP and WWW are missing, BUT if you copy the URL and paste it into something, the HTTP and WWW whatever will be there, try it, copy the url and paste it into wordpad, the full URL will be there. (Correction) The address Bar does show the WWW, just not the HTTP or HTTPS, but everything ive said above still applies.
