I'm not sure what version Opera stopped doing that (it had to be within the past year). I frequently copy links and when I post them to other locations I need to add it manually which is very annoying.</p>

(Correction) The address Bar does show the WWW, just not the HTTP or HTTPS, but everything ive said above still applies.</p>

Its bad enough that we've had to go this long without native OperaLink (One of my favorite features of Opera) but now this foolishness? How could this have passed QA? This is ridiculous.  I've been a loyal user of Opera since 2001 and this is really trying my patience.</p>
<p dir="auto">Its one thing to change interfaces and add functionality but why strip them?  Rrrrrrrgggghhhhhh</p>

When Opera 21 becomes stable it'll be available in the "normal" version.</p>

If you would like, you can download, and install the latest version (currently 21.0.1432.5), then go to Settings(Alt+P)-&gt;Browser-&gt;User interface, and tick the checkbox on the left of the "Show full URL in combined search and address bar".</p>
