On Win 10.

Open Opera the 10 seconds later, it closes and restarts. 10 seconds later, it closes and stays closed.

Opera is being opened with any tabs or just the start page/speed dial?

Speed dial. But go anywhere and it crashes ...

No extensions but lots of bookmarks. Deleting some bookmarks seems to have stabilized Opera ...

Last update Opera in both OS
Also lots of bookmarks.
No problem with any previous version since 1998 ...

The problem is in sync.

Quick fix. Disconnect your network from the control panel.

I have been able open and operate the program, open and close tabs, and modify and delete recently synchronized devices.

FIXED. SOLVED. Opera 36 crashing and restarting.

1. Disconnect the network.
2. Do some editing in bookmarks. Empty trash folder.
3. Close Opera. Reopen Opera.
4. Everything runs fine. (At least in my current environment(Linux).

I don't know if this simple step may have solved the issues in my other systems (I just noticed this morning in two systems. No problems noticed in my Opera Android.

ps. While writing this post Opera has updated/synchronized bookmarks with the server. It has restarted it by itself, crashed once, but now is running fine (now checking my corporate e-mail).
