In Opera 36.0. How do I change my Home Page back to Google.co.uk?
I can't find a setting for this anywhere? And I have just spent hours removing a nasty virus that threw everything including the kitchen sink at my PC, the only thing left to do is restore my home page, but so far it is proving to be a bitch, because I cannot find the setting to change it back?
Any help would be appreciated!

Setting is right at the top, "On startup:" Default is actually "Continue from last time", so Opera doesn't have an official "home page", but it can be set to always start with a certain page or pages. If you actually set a home page, you must have installed an extension to do so and thus will need to deal with that extension's settings.

I always had Opera start with Speed Dial, now I get a false Google start page every time. I need to start with Speedial, is there a way to do this please?

Do what sgunhouse said but pick "Open the start page" instead.
If that doesn't work then you have a malware infection and need to get it cleaned up before it will work properly.

lando242: No that dosen't work, the page I get at startup is called "trustedsurf.com".
I have run Malwarebytes and superantispyware, but neither has removed (or seen) this infection? -

Solved my problem with this freeware Ad/hijack removal tool. yhis is a great little utility to have in your tool box:
