AFAIK the only way to clear it in the new Opera is to manually delete the \Profile\Data\Cache folder.
"About Opera" will tell you where the profile folder is.
The folder will be recreated empty the next time you run Opera.
You could set up a shortcut to a script to do this with one double click.

Settings > privacy and security > delete navigation data (or something like that.)
