      Hello everyone,

I've been using Opera for years, but I never needed to sync my data between my devices...until today. I've decided to sync my data (especially my speed dial from a computer A to a computer B ). I've connected to my opera account on both devices. Now my very stupid question: now what should I do?

I can't simply figure out what to do next. I'll really be grateful if someone could explain me step by step how to process. I don't really care about passwords or browser history. What's the most important for me now is to find all the pages on my speed dial on computer A on my new computer B and maybe also find my extensions from computer A on the computer B.

      Thank you all.

P.S: sorry for my bad english, I'm french native speaker.

In the case of speed dials, you'll see them listed in Bookmarks in a section labeled "Other speed dials".

On desktop versions (Windows, Mac or Linux) click on the heart-shaped icon on the left side of the speed dial page to go to Bookmarks. Then in the left panel you'll see a list:

            Unsorted bookmarks

            >My Folders

            >Speed Dial

            >Other Speed Dials

            >Bookmarks Bar

            >Imported Bookmarks

            >Trash

Of course those are the English titles - not sure of the French translations.

oOh I found them. Thank you very much Sgunhouse. If you don't mind, one very last question. I promise:

Now that I've selected them, how to make them replace my actual speed dial? (I mean on the new computer I have nothing on my speed dial plage. Thanks to you, I now found all the speed dials from my old computer. Is there a way now to make them appear on the new computer speed dial page?)

Not a simple one, sorry. If you want them gone from the old computer you could drag them all to the Speed dial folder on the new computer. Unless you deactivate Sync on the old computer, changes made in Other Speed Dials will be made to the other computer. If you don't have too many speed dials, it is probably easiest to open each site on the new machine so you can add it normally.

Using the Bookmark Manager you can quickly and easily select them all and drag them over in one operation.
